این هتل که در قلب شهر قرار گرفته نامش را از کلیسای قدیمی شهر کلیسای SKT Petri میگیرد.​

Originally designed as Daells Varehus department store (1933-35), by architect Wilhelm Lauritzen, the building has undergone an extensive renovation, by Erik Møllers Tegnestue, that projects a clean, modern Scandinavian feeling To downscale the size of the building, and relate to the historic neighborhood, the architects have used different color tones on the facades.​

ابتدا در سال 1933 ساخته شده و بعد توسط اریک مولارز بازسازی وسیعی روی آن انجام شده
یک بنای مدرن با احساسی اسکاندیناوی برای کاهش اندازه ساختمان و ارتباط با بناهای بناهای همسایه تاریخی اطرافش آرشیتک از رنگ های مختلفی برای نما استفاده کرده است.​

The interior design, by Millimeter Architects, is stylish, light and airy. The color scheme, by Danish artist Per Arnoldi, is based on the tricolor; red, white and blue.
Escalators and wide stairs lead visitors from the entrance on the ground floor to the three-story 1,500 square meter mezzanine lobby and the reception desk. A floor to ceiling glass wall floods the room with natural light and offers a picturesque view of the courtyard surrounded by historic townhouses.
Changing art and design exhibitions add to the cosmopolitan feeling in the lobby.​

طراحی داخلی آن توسط طراحان ملیمترز شیک با روح و نورانی است.
تم رنگ ها براساس پرچم سه رنگ فرانسه قرمز و سفید و آبی است.آسانسور ها و پله های عریض مهمانان را از ورودی در طبقه همکف به سه طبقه 1500 متر مربعی و لابی نیم طبقه و میز پذیرش هدایت میکنند یک دیوار شیشه ای از زمین تا سقف اتاق را در نور های طبیعی شناور کرده و یک منظره از حیاطی که توسط بناهای تاریخی احاطه شده میدهد.
تغییر نمایش هنر و طراحی به احساس بین امللی بودم لابی می افزاید.​

The Brasserie Bleue, located at one end of the lobby, combine Scandinavian simplicity with an international atmosphere. Artist Per Arnoldi’s signature blue palette is reflected in the blue glasses set off against the pure white of the table linen.
Weather permitting, the courtyard provides the perfect setting for outdoor lunch or
dinner. A "sandy beach" will be a new addition to the courtyard this summer.​

رستوران فرانسوی که در انتهای لابی قرار گرفته .سادگی اسکاندیناوی را با انمسفر بین مللی ترکیب می کند.
و حیاط هم در صورت مناسب بودن هوا محیط مناسبی برای ناهار و شام در خارج از ساختمان است​

The Bar Rouge, off the lobby, features live DJ entertainment and excellent cocktails. Portraits of famous jazz musicians, by Danish photographer Jan Persson, create the perfect backdrop to the ever changing ambience of cool lounge music.
The combination of Copenhagen’s “in” crowd and the hotel’s international guests has made Bar Rouge Copenhagen’s new meeting place.​

Café Blanc, located on the ground floor next to the entrance, completes the tricolor scheme. There is a cozy and informal atmosphere that expands to the sidewalk during the summer months.
The café offers a wide variety of homemade breads and speciality coffees, as well as the same menu as Brasserie Bleue. Wireless Internet access and a selection of 50 international newspapers are available daily.
Also a boutique, everything served in the café can be purchased as takeaway, wrapped in custom designed tissue paper, boxes

and bags.​

کافی شاپ قرار گرفته در طبقه همکف در کنار وروردی که تم رنگی سه رنگ پرچم رو کامل می کند .یک جای راحت دنج و غیر رسمی که در تابستان تا قسمت راهرو ادامه می یابد.
کافی شاپ طیف وسیعی از نان های خنگی و کافی های مخصوص مانند منو رستوران فرانسوی ارائه می هد
ایننترنت وایرلس و 50 روزنامه بین الملی هر روز در دسترس می باشند
و همچنین یک بوتیک و تمام چیز هایی که در کافی شاپ سرو می شود می تواند خریداری شده و در بسته و جعبه ارائه شوند.​

The 268 rooms, 55 with either a balcony or terrace, have been designed to reflect a unique individual style with the furnishing custom designed for Hotel Skt. Petri.
The materials include dark woods and brass, the headboards and art is by Arnoldi.
All rooms are equipped with individual temperature control, broadband Internet access, 2-line telephones, TV with international channels, minibar, and safe.​

به نظر من هنوز ويژگي هاي معماري دهه 30 رو داره . ساده و به نظر من يكم كسل كننده اس ميشد بهتر بازسازي كنه معماري داخلي خاص و جالبي نداره .

در مورد تاریخ بازسازی چیزی ننوشته بود
در مورد بازسازی منم باهات موافقم برای طراحی داخلی میشد خیلی ایده های بهتری رو به کار بگیره ولی فقط از نظر حجم خارجی شاید می خواسته هماهنگی با محیط اطرافش رو حفظ کنه
